PosReport Privacy Policy

PosReport application (“App”) has been developed and is operated and maintained by or on behalf of Scotex Systems (“Scotex“, “we”, “our” or “us“).
Your privacy is important to us. This privacy policy is intended to give you confidence in the privacy and security of the personal information we obtain from you while you are using Scotex PosReport to download data from your Scotex Point of Sale (“POS”) products.

COLLECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
When you register to use PosReport, we need your mobile phone number as your personally identifier and will store a random string in your device as the access token to download business data. By giving us such information, you will need to consent to our using it in the manner described in this policy.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by call us by phone listed in contact page. We will return or destroy your personal information within five days of receipt of your withdrawal of consent.

USE OF BUSINESS DATA
In your POS”s local intranet environment, PosReport will download business data directly from your POS, Scotex will not play any role between them. In an internet environment, Scotex will help to transfer the business data from your POS system to your App through our internet server. We will transfer and forget the data. We will not unpack, parse, keep track, or save your business data.

USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
We use personal information to allow us to process your service requests, provide personalized service of our Products, and enable us to improve the products and services we offer. We will NOT use any personal information on market activities.

DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
We may provide information about you to our employees and agents in order to administer any accounts, products and services provided to you by Scotex. We will not disclose your personal information to any third party unless you have consented to such disclosure or where we are required to do so by law.

SECURITY
All security in our app is treated seriously. Where applicable, we undertake security steps, including use of MD5 and digest authorization technology, on our back-end systems that store customer account information and to protect data transmissions. However, this is not a guarantee that such data transmissions cannot be accessed, altered or deleted due to firewall or other security software failures.
